Baltic axe "Veles"

Named after the Slavic god "Veles".
The god of the earth, the forest and magic. A fertility god, protector of animals and (later) ruler of the underworld.
Hand forged from carbon steel. The handle is rustic and made of hickory and treated with various stains and oils. The non-ferrous metal wedge is made of wrought bronze.
